Finance Director

Sewell Wallis have an impressive opportunity with an ambitious business in Derbyshire looking to appoint a Finance Director. This is a truly fantastic opportunity in an accrescent sector, the Finance Director will lead the business strategically from a financial focus, taking the lead on registration of overseas entities, the Finance Director will also have experience in trade sale.

The Finance Director will go beyond being a highly competent finance functional leader, to co-own the vision and growth strategy of the business and be a trusted partner of the Directors and other senior leaders in driving forward the programme of strategic change presently being pursued.


Duties include;

* Prepare and present annual budgets, financial plans and business plans to the Board.
* Acquire and secure international entities.
* Overseeing the preparation of management and statutory accounts.
* Production of internal and external financial reports.
* Performance monitoring, analyse processes and aim to improve financial performance.
* Lead business planning and forecasting, including due diligence.
* Provide support during acquisition processes.
* Corporate finance, working capital, hedging, foreign currency.
* Ensure company compliance and governance.


Experience required;

* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant experience operating at this level.
* You'll be an exceptional leader of people and will have first class communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the wider business.
* Experience of setting up international entities.
* Knowledge of international tax laws.
* A history of assisting with acquisitions, including integration.
* Experience with due diligence processes.
* Track record of providing insightful management information to enable the directors to make real time decisions that enhance profitability.
* Strong finance modelling experience.
