Our client are an international business based in south Leeds who are looking for an experience Finance Compliance Accountant to join their finance team.

This Finance Compliance Accountant position will focus on compliance activities for their various UK and European companies and will provide support to the wider business in other areas.

Reporting into the Group Financial Accounting Manager your role will consist of the following duties:-

-Preparation of VAT and other indirect tax reporting
-Assist with the preparation of financial statements and completion of external audits
-Support with income tax requirements
-Month end close review activities and balance sheet reconciliations
-Provide support to the group tax team for corporation income tax requirements
-Work with group tax, treasury and legal teams and third party service providers to complete the above activities
To be considered you must be a qualified accountant with a background within audit ideally. Experience with preparing VAT returns and other reporting would be ideal.
