Finance Business Partner

Sewell Wallis are partnering with a global business in Leeds who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner into their Head Office team.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role is pivotal to the Europe Finance team and your key responsibilities will include:-

Business Partnering the operational & sales teams, providing financial support, analysis & challenge around commercial decisions, including commercial review of the businesses financial plans
Providing analysis across several areas including performance analysis, profitability reviews development of KPI's etc
Providing financial expertise, insight and commentary on financial results, budgets, and position to key stakeholders
Managing the day to day financial processing as well as responsibility for month end decision making & reporting.
Working closely with business leaders you will produce accurate forecasts on a rolling monthly basis to support wider business planning requirements and understand and report on both risk and opportunity against these forecasts
Providing insightful and timely MI to support both short term and long-term decision making
Ensuring on-time month end financial reporting, including review & commentary v. forecast, budget and prior year
Preparing and delivering the forecasts & budgets for review.

Requirements

Qualified Accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Advanced Excel skills - ideally modelling experience
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
Highly organised, multi-tasking skills, and ability to operate in within tight deadlines
Strong impact and credibility. Ability and confidence to influence and challenge decision-making
Strong communication skills - be able to convey detailed advice and information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and articulate manner
Proactive, ambitious and self-motivated, with a "can-do" attitude
