Finance Business Partner

Job description

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a large organisation based in east Leeds who are going through a rapid period of expansion, particularly after completing on their biggest acquisition to date. They therefore now require an experienced Finance Business Partner to focus on leading the Financial Planning & Analysis function for a particular division within the business.

This high-profile role is a pivotal part of the finance team, and requires someone confident and ambitious with a proven record of successful business partnering and adding value across an organisation.

Reporting into a highly successful Finance Director, who has demonstrated how much career progression is within this business, your role will focus on the following areas:-

-Developing commercial pricing propositions for existing customers and new business opportunities
-Take ownership of the weekly/monthly and annual P&L forecasts as well as leading the annual budgeting process
-Develop and maintain framework to understand customer profitability
-Identify gross margin profit and revenue growth
-Create and maintain tools to help the business understand cost efficiencies for each key spend areas
-Develop existing suite of management information focusing on creating insightful MI to support decision making
-Manage one Analyst, holding regular one to ones and formulating development plans/delegating where appropriate
-Effectively business partner with the Operations and Commercial areas of the business, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills throughout
-Lead the financial onboarding of new customers

To be considered for this highly commercial opportunity, you must be a qualified accountant with demonstrable experience working within an FP&A function. You will need to be career driven and self-motivated with experience working in a fast paced and complex organisation.
