We are delighted to be working with an amazing client based in Chesterfield, looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to their brilliant team! Finance Assistant duties:

* Accurately process and record invoices, ensuring timely payments and compliance with company policies.
* Monitor and manage outstanding customer invoices, actively pursue collections, and maintain effective relationships with clients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including purchases and sales.
* Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
* Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and general clerical tasks.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of finance-related procedures and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate:

* Previous experience in a similar role.
* AAT qualifications (desired)
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A proactive and can-do attitude.
