Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join a forward-thinking team, working for a leading Sheffield business.

This is a varied role with lots to get stuck into. Your role has opportunity to evolve with the business, gaining great exposure and progression for the right candidate. This is a vital role in the team where you will initially be responsible for managing the purchase ledger aspects of finance, reporting into the management accountant.

Responsibilities as a Finance Assistant:
* Oversee accounts payable ledger
* Handle incoming queries
* Communicate with suppliers, fostering a positive relationship
* Handle monthly credit card transactions
* Assist the management accountant with month end duties when required
* Other adhoc duties across the finance desk

Requirements:
* Experience in a finance related role
* Hands-on attitude
* Ability to use IT systems and experience using finance systems is desired
* Good attention to detail and problem solving
