Sewell Wallis is working with a fantastic manufacturing business in Leeds that is looking to recruit a junior finance analyst on a permanent, full time basis.This company is well established and can provide the successful candidate with room to progress. They encourage growth internally and can offer study support to aid with this.
This is a hybrid position with the opportunity to work 2 days from home per week.
The successful candidate will be bright, enthusiastic and will have the ability to problem solve. It would be beneficial if they had solid excel skills, a degree in finance or a finance related subject and were ambitious.
Duties will include:
- Assist with the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Support with budgeting and forecasting process
- Assist with the month end process
- Ensure all balances held are accurate and discrepancies are investigated
- Creating and producing reports
- Provide commentary and analysis on trends
You will:
- Have solid excel skills
- Be a graduate or have some previous finance experience
- Be bright and switched on
- Have the ability to problem solve and identify trends
