Document Controller

Job description

Based in Edinburgh our Client is a market leader within the energy sector with a superb reputation and a strong record of continued growth.

They have recently created a new role to work within their Information Management team to be responsible for the compliance and audit requirements and managing all processes, standards and guidelines and communicating internally and externally.

Experience within Oil and Gas is essential as you will be setting up processes and controls, the main duties will include:

- Assist in the creation of document control processes, procedures and standards.
- Document Control focal point for UK and International assets and project teams.
- Receipt and distribution of documentation both internally and externally.
- Registration and storage of documentation.
- Create Master Document Registers and Document deliverable registers.
- Allocation and control of Document numbers.
- Auditing of controlled documentation.
- Creation of late periodic review reports and expedite update of same.
- Quality check of documentation received both internally and externally.
- Archive documentation in accordance with Archive Procedure.
- Search and retrieval of information as required.

Experience within Oil and Gas is essential together with the ability to communicate at all levels. Experience using Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams is an advantage.
