Sewell Wallis have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller in the West Leeds area. The position reports into a supportive Credit Manager and will see the successful candidate receive full training and support.

The business is consistently growing year on year and so this is a great time to join them. The role sits within a friendly finance team.

The business are based just outside of Leeds City Centre and have excellent public transport links, free onsite parking is also provided.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own ledger and will be expected to consistently hit cash collection targets.

As the Credit Controller you will be responsible for the following:
Building and maintaining relationships with key clients.
Calling customers for outstanding payments.
Taking credit card payments.
Allocating cash to the sales ledger.
Raising credit notes and remittances.
Credit checking potential customers.
Liaising with internal and external clients.
Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in business to consumer collections.
Excellent communication skills.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
Confidence in dealing with important internal and external stakeholders.
Over 18 month's previous credit control experience.
