The role is at a growing firm and would see the successful candidate join a current credit team of 2. It's a supportive finance team where full training and support is provided. They are looking for someone who has previous experience and can come in and hit the ground running.
The role suits an individual who is used to working in a fast paced environment and involves working to multiple deadlines.
As the Credit Controller you will have responsibility for the following:
Chasing outstanding monies within agreed terms.
Hit and exceed the required collection rate targets.
Working towards KPI's.
Regularly contacting customers to ensure payments are made within the agreed terms.
Setting up new accounts/checking credit records/maintaining client records.
Following the company's cash collection policies and procedures.
Accurately allocating payments onto the customer's sales ledger.
Dealing with complex customer queries.
Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience of the start to finish credit control process.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong Excel skills.
The ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced, target orientated credit control environment.
A positive, determined approach to collecting outstanding monies.
