Credit Controller

Job description

I have a fantastic credit control opportunity working for a global business who have offices all over. Due to increased work load they are looking to recruit a credit controller on a temporary basis for roughly 6 months, however this is likely to get extended or go permanent.

This role will be hybrid working and going in to the office 2 days per week. It will be a 35 hour working week, salary on offer is between £25,000 - £28,000.

The role:

  • Credit checks
  • Setting up the terms and conditions of a loan
  • Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments
  • Negotiating re-payment plans
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems
  • Providing accounts information to internal departments

The candidate:

  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • 2-3 years experience within credit control
  • Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
  • Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
