Credit Controller

Job description

We are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join a growing and diverse team in Barnsley! This is a hands-on role managing both Key and non-Key accounts, ensuring the efficient collection of payments. You will be joining a lively and experienced team, offering hybrid working after an initial probation, competitive bonus and progression!

Credit Controller responsibilities:

  • Generation of customer payment applications.
  • Chasing overdue payments from different departments.
  • Conducting customer visits.
  • Cash allocation.
  • Conducting credit checks.
  • Reconciliation of accounts.
  • Compilation of paperwork for customer visits.
  • Collaboration with internal departments.
  • Handling customer inquiries over the phone.
  • Resolution of pricing issues and queries.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Credit Control.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
