The position reports directly into the Credit Manager and will come with full support and training as well as set progression plans. The role has been created due to continued growth over the past 5 years which has seen revenue increase year on year.
It's a friendly, well established team who are able to work to a fast pace to achieve their set KPIs. The business is based in a great location with excellent nearby transport links.
Implementing new processes to improve employee performances.
Mentoring team members to ensure they hit their set KPIs.
Managing a ledger which has a focus around problematic accounts.
Going out to meet difficult customers to resolve any disputes.
Assisting the Credit Manager with the management of the credit control department.
Attending meetings with members of the sales team and key clients to resolve any queries.
Taking responsibility for team performance and ensuring high standards are maintained.
Assisting with the recruitment of new staff.
Training new members of staff.
Instigating legal proceedings for aged debt.
Putting accounts on stop.
Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a supervisor/team leader role.
Experience of training new and existing members of staff.
A strong credit background.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
