They now have a new opportunity for a Cost Finance Analyst to focus on business partnering with production side of the business. This role requires someone with a finance background who can confidently articulate numbers to non-finance individuals. As the Cost Finance Analyst your role will focus around providing insightful analysis to drive factory performance and profitability.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include the following:-
-Ensure robust controls are in place for accounting entries
-Ad hoc financial analysis to support key strategic decisions
-Stock and inventory analysis
-Monthly budget reports, providing weekly analysis and commentary
-Presenting KPIs to the supply chain finance department
-Keep the company systems up to date with product updates, new product launches, product materials / labour costs and overheads rates
-Work as part of the Supply Chain Finance team, sharing learnings, and complying with the financial controls and reporting timetables in line with business requirements
-Completion and ownership of accurate and controlled balance reconciliations
-Wastage analysis and stock take reviews
-Building solid relationships across the entire business to effectively manage key workflows in a timely manner and identify areas where work processes and decision making can be improved
The successful candidate will be someone with a few years' experience working in a finance function within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. You must be confident in dealing with non-finance individuals and be an extremely strong user on Excel with an excellent analytical skill-set.
