Sewell Wallis are partnering with a managed service provider looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager to join their finance function in York.This is a newly created role which will be initially project based, but then after 3-6 months will become purely commercial.
Reporting to the senior management team, your responsibilities will include:-
Ensuring management accounts are completed to agreed timescales
Providing commercially sound financial analysis
Reconciling revenue and costs
Preparing commercial bids
Investigating variances from budget
Statutory reporting
Period end analysis
Acting as a business partner with non finance business units
Identifying areas of commercial risk
Analysing KPI's
Providing commercial support to key projects
Requirements
Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
Ability to understand the commercial drivers of a business
Excellent analytical skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
