Sewell Wallis are working on an exciting opportunity to join a highly recognised and popular international brand. This company have an exceptional work ethic with incredible offices based in Leeds city centre.

Following an internal promotion, our client are looking for a new Commercial Finance Manager. This role will focus on shaping the strategic direction of the company, where you will be analysing their current customer base and recommending ways to diversify this moving forward. This is highly profitable business continuously welcomes change and are always looking for ways to grow and improve.

The role is highly focused on business partnering but also includes some month end and reporting responsibilities, so you must be able to turn your hand to both areas.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A your role will include the following duties:-

-Business partnering with the Group Commercial Director to maximise profitability
-Driving product and channel optimisation through setting pricing and promotion strategies
-Identify opportunities for Global expansion
-Run the weekly scorecard process, liaising with senior finance people across the business to understand their markets and the drivers variances to forecasts and budgets
-Work closely with the sales team, providing them with analysis to support major negotiation with large Global customers
-Monitor gross margin performance
-Ensure the month end consolidated reporting packs accurately reflect the performance of the business
-Deliver Group forecasts and budgets
-Regular presentations to the CFO and CEO on your findings and offering them sound financial and commercial advice based

You will need to have a strong background with commercial finance and be used to dealing with senior stakeholders on a regular basis. You must thrive in a fast paced and change driven environment and any experience working within a premium brand would be an advantage.
