Commercial Finance Analyst

Job description

Sewell Wallis are currently partnering with a well-known brand based in Bradford, who are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst into their finance team.

You will be reporting into a highly experienced Head of Finance and your role will include the following duties:-

-Perform financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting to optimise business performance
-Challenge, advise and support commercial and operations teams with budgeting, planning and reporting
-Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendation for achieving key objectives and targets
-Monitor and review ongoing and past performance, variances and costs
-Supporting Marketing and Merchandising to provide accurate financial data and KPI reporting
-Contribute to operational projects including capital expenditure
-Provide commercial advice to the SMT and Board

To be considered for this fast paced and highly commercial role, you must meet the following criteria:-

-Be a qualified accountant
-Experience in challenging and partnering with non financial departments
-Strong excel and analysis skills
-Experience working in FMCG or retail would be highly beneficial
-Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
