Commercial Finance Analyst

Job description

This role for a Commercial Finance Analyst is available due to internal promotion within the team.
Within a well known company, offering stability, growth & development - demonstrated by the internal promotion that has created the role.

The duties of the commercial finance analyst will include:-
-Provide financial support and challenge to Commercial teams.
-Review sales and margin performance on a weekly basis and Finance Business Partnering.
-Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
-Providing commentary on variances to budget.
-Lead the standard costing process for relevant categories.
-Production of P&L's and Commercial Cost Centre reports.
-Provide insight and analysis to help the business identify and realise margin improvement opportunities
-Support new product development and innovation, providing commercial analysis and commentary.
-Provide continual, timely analysis of the impact market trends.
-Provide support and coaching to the more junior members of the team

The successful candidate for the Commercial Finance Analyst will be:-
-Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
-Proficient in excel - V lookups, Pivots at least
-An ambitious character with the drive to progress
-An effective communicator with proven ability discussing financials.
