Sewell Wallis are currently partnering with a friendly yet professional accountancy firm based in east Leeds. They are now looking to expand their finance team and have a new opportunity for an Audit Senior to join them. This would suit someone who is struggling to see the career development with their current employer as our client is looking for someone who is keen to progress to manager as soon as possible.

Your duties as Audit Senior will involve the following:

- Reporting directly to Managers/partners
-lead audit engagements from planning to completion for a wide range of industries and size of businesses
- Supervise a junior accounts team
- Preparing year end accounts

You will need to possess the following skill set to be considered:

- Qualified or part-qualified ACA or ACCA preferably with at least two years external audit experience.
-Needs to be competent in the transactional areas and most of the balance sheet areas of an audit, ideally with some experience in planning and completing small private limited company audits;
-Excellent communicator who needs to be able to work as part of a growing team, dealing with clients and other team members
