My client are a successful practice in West Yorkshire for a motivated individual who has a proven track record in accounts preparation and audit.

This would potentially suit an Accounts / Audit Senior who is looking for their next stop.

For this position - Accounts and Audit Manager - we are ideally looking for someone who can tick the following boxes:

*Experience supervising a team of Audit staff within Practice.
*ACA/ACCA qualified
*Knowledgeable on cloud based products
*Excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
*Experience of auditing including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures
*Strong organisational skills
*Previous experience managing people
*Up to date with all technical aspects of accounts and audits

Here's what you can expect from the role:

*Planning and completion of statutory Audit, charity Audit, SRA Audit etc.
*Act as a major point of contact within the firm for the client together with the Partner
*Delegation and review of work completed by team
*Managing overall service delivery to clients
*Managing the Audit staff - including appraisal/mentoring/workload etc
*Offering support to Partners when required
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior levels, being a principal point of contact throughout the year
*Support Partners in the development of new business relationships and business proposals
*Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required
*Recruit, retain, develop and motivate employees
*Act as a major point of contact within the firm for the client together with the Partner. This includes responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintaining regular contact with clients.
