Assistant Management Accountant

Excited to be representing this company on their search for an Assistant Management Accountant.

This role is remote with travel on a quarterly basis to a base in Barnsley!

The duties of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:
-Responsible for supporting the production of management information for the Group, including monthly management accounts.
-Group cost analysis, quality and control recommendations and summary board reporting for the Group Finance Director.
-Support the production of rolling short and medium-term cash flow forecasts, identifying and planning for seasonal/other variances.
-Support the Senior Finance Team in the budgeting process.
-Assist with the production of the yearly audited financial statements as required.
-Implement strong financial controls and processes to enhance the reporting information currently available.
-Promote and deliver strong accounting and cost control within the business.
-Demonstrate a strong and clear knowledge of accounting legislation that affects both company and stakeholders within it.
-Participate in continuing professional development activities that support personal development and improve effectiveness in the role.
-Other tasks as reasonably required, including ad-hoc analysis and project work.


The suitable Assistant Management Accountant:-
-Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
-Experienced in a similar role
-Strong technical ability including Excel
