Sewell Wallis are partnered with a successful distribution business to search for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their team in Bradford.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has some exposure to management accounting and is looking to start their ACCA or CIMA qualification, while learning from the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities include:
- Production of weekly and monthly management accounts
- Weekly P&L preparation
- Month end duties including fixed assets, journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with annual budget processes
- Business partnering with non-finance teams
- Carrying out variance analysis
- Producing month end reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting with year end audit
The successful applicant will be a strong communicator, have good excel skills and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and developing their career.
You will receive a salary of up to £30,000, hybrid working after probation and study support towards ACCA / CIMA.
