Assistant Management Accountant

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a well-established, growing company based in the Harrogate area, the business has experienced a strong period of growth and as a result are looking to grow by adding an Assistant Management Accountant to their friendly, existing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent candidate to join a well known and respected business that offer great career progression and exposure to all aspects of management accounts.

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Management Accountant. Your main duties will initially include but are not limited to the following:-

*Resolving account queries within the booking system.
*Updating and maintaining booking system database.
*Bank reconciliations.
*Reviewing and maintaining debt level across all sites at less than 3% of sales.
*Production of monthly Financial Reporting Packs for client.
*Day to day accounts contact for clients.

The ideal candidate will:-

*Be part qualified ACCA or CIMA who wants to be supported through the rest of their studies.
*Have experience in a similar role.
*Have good IT skills.
*Have good communication skills.
*Be able to meet the demands of a fast-moving business which expects a high level of service.
*Be able to work equally well individually and as part of a team.
