Assistant Accountant 12 Month FTC

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our client, who are based on the outskirts of Harrogate, on a 12 months FTC basis.

The role has arisen due to growth and they are looking at people who are keen to develop.

You will have previously worked within the manufacturing sector and will have assisted with the management accounts process.
Ideally, you will be newly qualified or part way through your CIMA or ACCA.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

-Supporting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
-Producing accruals, prepayments and journals.
-Managing cash allocation.
-Preparing and balancing of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
-Balance sheet reconciliations.
-Producing monthly reporting.
-Supporting the Management Accountant with budgeting and forecasting.
