Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting on behalf of a business based in Sheffield for a confident Assistant Accountant.The company is both progressive and ambitious so this is a great opportunity for someone who is confident in their abilities and able to work efficiently and effectively.
Your duties will include:-
-Producing monthly accounts
-Forecasts
-Profit and Loss
-Budgeting
-Accruals and Prepayments
-Management of Company paid credit cards
-Balance sheet reconciliation
-Bank account reconciliations
-Ensure year end schedules are completed
-Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts
-Quarterly preparation of VAT returns
-Adhoc payment request processing
-Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts
-Processing Intercompany Journals
-Reconciling petty cash
-Fixed Assets
The successful candidate will be:-
-Experienced in a similar role
-Preferably PQ ACCA or CIMA
-Positive attitude
-Confident on Excel
