Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a 10-month FTC Interim Accounts position for a leading and rapidly growing business. The addition to the Finance team will cover a period of maternity leave.


Job Purpose:

To support the Finance Director on financial matters relating to the business.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

* Bank reconciliations & petty cash posting
* Prepare control reconciliations, investigate and resolve queries
* Prepare and process journals, prepayments and fixed assets
* Prepare VAT returns
* Credit card posting
* Daily cash allocating
* Production of month-end reports
* Invoice financing reporting
* Processing of BACS payments
* Ad hoc accounts team tasks


Key Skills Required:

* Previous experience of using Sage 50 is essential
* Held an Accountant role previously
* Computer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills (including Vlookup's and pivot tables)
* Be able to commit to a 10-month position
* Ability to compile, analyse and review data to a high level of accuracy
* High level of attention to detail
* Friendly and tactful personality
* Strong inter-personal skills both verbal & written
* Like working with people as part of a team
