Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a long standing client based in South Leeds.

Working within a proactive team this is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that really rewards its employees with a superb working environment and scope for career progression. The role will report into the Accounts Receivable Manager and full training will be given.

Initially the role will be responsible for invoicing customers together with managing the whole process including calls and emails to ensure prompt collection of outstanding invoices. As the role progresses there is the opportunity to get involved with other aspects of accounts including accruals and prepayments, journals, reconciliations and dealing with complex queries.

They are looking for the following attributes:

-Experience within accounts responsible preferable but not essential
-Strong communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
-Have strong IT and Excel skills.
-Have strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
-Have the ability to reconcile accounts and be able to work within a fast paced, high volume environment.
-Have a desire to progress and develop your career in accounts receivable.
