Accounts Payable Manager

Job description

Sewell Wallis are currently looking to recruit an experienced AP Manager to join our client based in Harrogate! The right candidate will be joining a successful and well known, growing business. This post will be on a temporary basis and later down the line could transition into a permanent role.

Duties include:
*Manage and support the members in the AP team
*Ensure key accounts are up to date
*Manage internal escalation of queries and ensure that they are dealt with in a timely manner
*Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues
*Adhere to internal and external controls/policies and procedures
*Analysis of the AP function to monitor accounts and identify risks
*Manage internal projects as required
*Adjust orders/processes as necessary to support the business

The successful candidate will have:
*A strong background in AP
*Ideally managed/supervised other team members before, although this is not necessary and they will look at people who are looking to gain this exposure
*Good analytical skills
