Accounts Payable Assistant

Sewell Wallis are thrilled to be a recruiting for a well-known Chesterfield business who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to their team. They are a business with big plans so now is a great time to join!

Your main responsibility will be inputting accounts payable invoices daily into the payments system. Your typical day-to-day may look like:

* Processing and inputting purchase invoices accurately into the accounting system.
* Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.
* Ensuring timely resolution of invoice queries with suppliers.
* Managing payment runs for supplier invoices and adhering to payment terms.
* Maintaining accurate supplier records and assisting with month-end financial reporting.

* Experience working towards deadlines.
* A flexible attitude and a team player mentality
* Strong IT skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A good eye for detail.
