Accounts Assistant

Job description

Sewell Wallis is currently working with a brilliant Financial services company based in Leeds City Centre. They are looking for someone to join them on a full time, permanent basis as an accounts assistant/assistant cashier.
The successful candidate will have fantastic attention to detail, be very familiar with excel and bank reconciliations as well as an awareness of professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties will include:
-Bank reconciliations
-Dealing with daily post
-Opening and closing bank accounts
-VAT returns
-Dividend payments
-Dealing with satellite offices
You will:
-Have very good attention to detail
-Be meticulous
-Be eager to get stuck in
-Be able to commit to this job long term
-Be able to prioritise a growing workload
