Accounts Assistant

Job description

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an AAT qualified Accounts Assistant to join one of our key clients who are based on the outskirts of Guiseley; due to recent growth they are looking to expand their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

-Supporting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
-Producing accruals, prepayments and journals.
-Preparing and balancing of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
-Reconciling bank statements and identifying and logging fixed assets.
-Amending invoices and creating credit notes.
-Performing balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.
-Assisting with more transactional processing duties as and when required.

You will:-

-Ideally be AAT qualified
-Be able to communicate at all levels and be able to liaise with managers and clients.
-Be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.
-Be able to work within a fast paced, deadline orientated environment.
