Accounts and Payroll Assistant

Job description

I am currently representing one of my favourite companies based in Sheffield on their search for an Accounts and Payroll Assistant.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:-
-Maintaining cash book records.
-Dealing with the Accounting for Tax quarterly returns.
-Monitoring cash flows.
-Processing daily payment request.
-Daily checks on bank accounts.
-Bank reconciliations.
-Maintaining up to date bank mandates for clients.
-Processing payroll.
-Issuing of monthly payslips.
-Submitting statutory year end returns.
-Making appropriate ledger entries in the accounting system.
-Any other payroll duties as required by the business

The successful candidate will be:-
-Proven experience in a payroll position.
-Pensions knowledge would be desirable.
-Experience in a cash management role.
