I'm working with a young business within the charity sector who have grown rapidly over 2 years and are in a position where they need to bring their accounts internal to save on external accounting costs and to assist with further growing the business.
Due to the nature of the work that they do, this will be a remote role where you will be provided with a laptop, phone and remote connection facilities and will be in charge of the entire finance. This is the type of role that doesn't come up very often and is ideal for anyone who maybe struggles with childcare.
Some points to seriously consider:
- You will have to be able to add value by advising and helping to make best practice business decisions. The company has a strong operational management team, but they need the support and guidance of someone with good financial acumen.
- You will need to be able to work autonomously and without any sort of supervision.
- This is a tough role that will need a lot of work and will require you to get stuck into the weeds of the accounts and some more admin based duties whilst the business grows.
- Travel to London occasionally will be required
