Senior Credit Controller

Sewell Wallis is working with a renowned business who are leaders within their field. My client is all about staff development and always promotes within. Due to expansion, my client is now looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their team.

The right candidate will be a driven, confident and motivated individual who has 2-3 years of experience as well as excellent Excel skills. On offer is a fantastic salary of up to £26,000, and the opportunity to earn £300 per month in bonus. They will offer the option to work from home for a few days after probation is completed (3 months).

What will you be doing? 

• Controlling the collection of Key and non-Key accounts.
• Creating customer applications for payment within Excel.
• Chasing payment from Accounts Departments as well as Surveyors.
• Customer visits.
• Cash allocation.
• Credit checks.
• Reconciliation of accounts.
• Collating paperwork for customer visits.
• Logging, resolving and clearing queries.
• Liaising with internal departments.
• Dealing with customers over the phone.
• Resolving complex pricing issues.
• General queries.

What skills are we looking for?

• Experience of Credit Control.
• Experience in using spreadsheets.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A keen eye for detail as accuracy is important.
• A positive and flexible attitude.
