Interim Transactional Finance Manager

About the Role
Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting an Interim Transactional Finance Manager for our client a private equity-backed property group based in Stockport. You’ll join a fast-paced, dynamic senior team on an interim basis of three to six months to support them during an exceptionally busy time due to fast paced growth through acquisitions.
This business is based in Stockport and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days home working. Their offices are based close to the train station so are within easy commute of Manchester, Sheffield. Leeds and the areas in between.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting the Senior Finance Manager in the day to day management of the Transactional processing teams consisting of AP, AR and Service Charge Assistants.
- Answering escalated queries within the department
- Dealing with complex account reconciliations
- Supporting with processing improvement initiatives
What skills are we looking for?
- A professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) is the ideal although we will consider applicants who have a number of years experience managing finance teams within property
- Experience working within the property sector is essential
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Available to start an interim role with short notice (ideally immediate)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during a critical financial period
