Accounts Assistant
About the Role
Sewell Wallis is working with a business based in North Leeds, who are looking to expand their existing accounts team You will be working for a great, well-established company that offers excellent training and support, as well as long-term progression.
The successful person will have previous experience in a similar role, will ideally be AAT qualified and be confident looking after the full transactional accounts process.
What will you be doing?
- Manage the purchase ledger by consolidating purchase invoices weekly.
- Manage the sales ledger by producing and distributing sales invoices as and when required.
- Perform bank reconciliations promptly and clear any reconciling items in a timely manner.
What skills are we looking for?
- Experience as an Accounts Assistant, or similar (essential).
- Excellent use of Excel for accounting to an advanced level (essential).
- Strong communication skills.
